Well if you stand still on the coals, yes you will, but it is a firewalk not a cookout! There's a lot of control in a firewalk and we often walk multiple times. If you are new to firewalking and concerned, I would recommend walking last before we refresh the coals. Then when you want more of a challenge, walk right after me, or maybe even first! First or last, it is still a powerful experience.
There's no tricks here. It is real fire and red hot coals upwards of 1,200 degrees. So you might get "kissed" and some people believe where you get kissed can call attention to other parts of our body through foot reflexology.
It mostly depends on your state of mind and your energy. The more energy you bring to the fire the better. What are you facing? What are you leaving behind? What and who are you doing this for? Think those questions matter more than will it hurt. Regardless of your course of action. Change is difficult. Change hurts. Embracing it and moving forward is more important than what may or may not happen!
I would bring clothes for the season. I would bring an extra set of clothes and a towel if there's any chance of rain. Unless we have dangerous conditions e.g. high winds, we are still firewalking. Even in the rain. We encourage you to join us and set intentions before the walk:
I am part owner of Ambient Rehabilitation. Back in 2022, I needed a place for my first firewalk. I asked Ambient's landlord and he was cool with it. Infrastructure kind of built up and it became more and more important to me. At the same time, firewalking was kind of confusing the focus and look of Ambient's website with out patient physical therapy. So I moved things here. I have more creative freedom and can focus exclusively on firewalking.
Working on having a Doing Business As to help bring things more in line.
It is preferred, but no. We can accept a check, credit card payments through Square, or Zelle. We prefer not to handle cash. Call 732-561-8358 to discuss other options.
Call 732-561-8358, reach out on Facebook, or Instagram.
We usually break up our events into two parts. Since we have limited workshop seating. The firewalk builds upon the workshop, but it is a separate experience.
Register early for workshop and workbook. Please call 732-561-8358 with any questions.
